Totara North School

The car park upgrade at Totara North School was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Siteworx Northland’s expertise. This project faced several challenges, including limited space, working in an active public environment, unstable ground conditions, and unexpected slip stabilizations.

Key elements of the project included:

• Site Clearance: We efficiently removed old retaining walls, trees, and vegetation, as well as conducted cut-to-waste earthworks.
• Retaining Walls: Approximately 200 poles were drilled and installed to depths of up to 6 meters for the construction of three extensive timber pole retaining walls, ensuring structural integrity.
• Stormwater Drainage: We supplied and installed an upgraded stormwater drainage system to improve water management.
• Infrastructure Development: Our team constructed kerbs, channels, and poured concrete for footpaths and driveways.
• Car Park Preparation: We supplied and compacted metal to create a level base for asphalt application.
